The News:

October 2008 - Hard to believe, this has been up for a year. Thanks to everyone for visiting and sorry I haven't been updating as much as I would like. I've missed some great photo opportunities the past couple of months. From having magnesium going off in my face, burning gas trucks,  to saving baby chickens. But still I want to say thanks.

Jan 2008 - The website is running great, but not much going on around here. Happy New Year.

Nov 11,2007 - Added more photos and new pages before I go out of town.

Nov 6, 2007 - Minor updates. I will be out of town from Sunday the 11th through the 16th for the EMD Instructor course in Bedford, VA.

I hope everyone likes the site. I would like to do an individual page for each member with information such as "member since", Awards, Certifications, and pictures. Everyone's participation and input would be helpful. I am also trying to figure out a way to get a video camera that mounts to your helmet to record the action. Oct. 20, 2007 -- I've been working on the web site, playing with the graphics and trying to fine tune the site and take care of a few bugs. Hopefully this will be the last big tune up.

Oct 19, 2007 -- Created the new home for the Ladies Auxiliary. http://www.cvfd-aux.org.

Oct. 15, 2007 - Due to the limitations on the web site creator program which came with the web site and an addition of the Ladies Auxiliary temporary area ( http://aux.crewevfd.org ). I had to make some changes, SORRY this version isn't as flashy as the original. I hope to have their own domain setup soon. Please stay tuned.

Oct. 15, 2007 - (Part 2) I established an easier way to check your email via the web. Go to http://mail.crewevfd.org enter your username (ie username@crewevfd.org) and password contact me for your password and if you want your email forwarded to an existing email address.

Oct. 14,2007 - Added the History of the fire department. Thanks to Candice, Glen, Ben and Jamie for their proof reading. There was some missing info from the resources that I got the history from, anyone who can fill in the blanks your assistance would be helpful. When was the old fire house built? Was it the first location? When were the old van, suburban, rescue 4 and ems8 purchased? When did Val Wilson take over as Chief? Need the complete list of deceased firemen and when.  PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES!
